When in Scotland

So after almost 24 hours on planes and in Airports I finally made it to Scotland. We left around 9;30pm from Melbourne international, Flew 14hrs and arrived 6am in Dubai (Dubai time). Dubai airport is certainly an experience in itself. There was a lot of walking and a train ride just to get to our gate, but then there was a 10 to 15 minute bus ride from our gate to the actual airplane. Another 8hr flight before we landed at out destination, Glasgow Scotland. When we arrived  it was 1.30pm local time. Tired was a understatement, I forced myself to stay awake until 7;30pm and then slept until 7:30am the next day.

Trying to sleep on the plane was not very comfortable and the food was rather plain, like hospital food. Peple had warned me prior that your legs get sore but no one had warned me about the dry sinuses. Next time I will be getting a nasal spray to help with that, worst feeling ever! Two days later, up until I got the nasal spray I had a sinus headache.

I have been here 5days now but it has been go go go. The Hens party weekend was held in Edinburgh.

All houses and shops look like this
There are lots of monuments to people

This is one the most beautiful cities I have ever seen. Next time I come to Scotland I would like to explore this city a lot more, two days was definitely not enough time.

The Hen's party events were so much fun. Everyone got into character with the murder mystery dinner and there was so much dancing at Revolution that everyone left with sore feet. Hen's party Shenanigans were everywhere.

Prepare to be amazed! This. is a highland Cow also known as a Highland Coo by the locals.
